The club was formed in
February 2009. The idea came
about from some of us who
played at the New Malden
Centre and the Tolworth
Recreational Centre on every
Saturday and we decided one
evening while having dinner
that we would like to play
competitively as well as for
fun and give players the
opportunity to learn and
progress.
We took on the name of
'Kingston' as we always
intended to play in this
area and to promote the game
of badminton in the region,
then we started regular
twice a week club nights
(Mondays & Thursdays) and
surprisingly managing well
so far. |
