Looking Back On A Great Day
Kingston’s countdown to London 2012 is well and truly underway following the Go Kingston 2010 event which took place on 25th July at the Hawker Centre. Hundreds of people gathered to celebrate that it’s only two years to go until London hosts the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Everyone took advantage of the many activities on offer while gathering information and advice from the experts on how to get fit and stay active and healthy for life. They were also very lucky to witness some spectacular displays and live music as well as taking part in the London 2012 Open Weekend Cycle Challenge as well as testing their strength in the Tug-of-War.

All clubs listed in the Sports Directory will be contacted to participate and you can either have a stall, taster session or display or all three!!!
This will be a fantastic day and will be held at the Hawker Centre, there is plenty of room for all and if you want to be involved then register your interest now by phoning the Active Kingston Team on 020 8547 5207 or completing the form (see below).
