Sport Kingston

We Are The Local Collective Voice For Sport In The Borough Of Kingston.
Sport Kingston is a local independent forum committed to the encouragement, development and promotion of all sports within the borough of Kingston.
We are here to support, advise and consult upon all sporting activities borough wide and seek to promote sport at all levels.
We also lobby on behalf of local clubs and will liaise with organisations/authorities on the club’s behalf to resolve issues which affect them.
Members from Kingston clubs are welcome to attend our meetings.
We hope that our website provides you with the information and advice needed to develop your club or if you are a member of the general public to join in the local sporting activities.

Corinthian-Casuals Brazil 2015
Corinthian-Casuals FC have been invited to Brazil by Sport Club Corinthians Paulista (SCCP) to commemorate the fixture “that never was” – the 1914 tour that failed to take place due to the outbreak of the First World War.
It will also celebrate the unique connection between our club and Corinthians and various Brazilian clubs with historic connections to our club and Country. This is a very exciting time for CCFC and we can expect to receive global media attention.

Balfour Beatty London Youth Games 2015 - Team Kingston Applications Are Now Open!!!
Be a part of Team Kingston 2015!
The application process to apply to be part of the Team Kingston squad 2015 Balfour Beatty London Youth Games is now OPEN and will stay open until Friday 20th March 2015, so you have plenty of time to choose which sport you would like to be considered for.

To be eligible to apply you must:
• live or go to school in The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames
• fit into the age categories stated for each sport on the application form
Team Kingston Youth Games
The 2015 campaign is already under-way, Team Kingston Cross Country squads successfully competed in November ensuring that Kingston is currently 8th out of 33 London Boroughs. For a full breakdown visit 
Cricket and Boccia trials are currently taking place in readiness to compete in February 2015.

Green Spaces Strategy Workshop

Would you like to contribute to the development of Kingston’s Green Spaces Strategy, Tree Strategy and Allotment Strategy?
Please come along to an interactive workshop on Tuesday 14th October 2014 in Queen Anne Suite, Guildhall.
This ‘drop in’ workshop will at start at 5.00pm and run throughout the evening until 9.00pm.

To find out about green space, trees and allotments in Kingston there will be a short presentation repeated each hour, the first will be at 5.10pm, then there will be an opportunity to meet the green spaces team, make your comments, suggestions, ideas, proposals and even a vision for the future.

Light refreshments will be available.

Disability Sports Coach Level 1 & 2 Job Vacancy
Disability Sports Coach are currently looking for sports coaches to fulfill multi-sports contracts in London. This role is up to 20 hours per week, and times/location are flexible.
Disability Sports Coach Vacancies
Coaching experience and a coaching NGB level 1 & 2 certificate (in any sport) is essential for this role. Within some schools you may be able to coach your qualified sport, however, most contracts involve coaching disability specific sports.
We offer training for working with people with disabilities, so disability specific experience is desirable not essential.

They are here to support your club in many ways from applying for funding to developing a youth or disability section, they have links with many partners in the borough who are looking to work with clubs.  
They work on a variety of projects and strategies that include sport so are able to identify opportunities for clubs at an early stage.
