Pro-Active South London

Hello and welcome to the 43rd issue of the PRO-ACTIVE South London newsletter!

It has been an eventful month, with PRO-ACTIVE London’s Dare2Dance project, a ground-breaking project which empowers girls and young women aged between 14 and 24 through the medium of Street Dance, successfully securing £127,000 from the Mayor’s Sports Participation Fund.

The Mayor's Legacy Skills Investment Programme course catalogue website has also been launched, partially subsidising (up to 75%) the cost of training courses in coaching and officiating, community sport, volunteering, leisure, health and disability sport - details of this catalogue and how to apply follow later in this newsletter.

The latest Active People 4 Survey Results have also been released, with Sport England providing detailed breakdowns of the survey on their website - a link to this will also follow later in this newsletter.

PRO-ACTIVE London have also released a short survey to get your feedback on our websites and how we can improve them - you can access this here.

Additionally, our Twitter account has reached 150 followers, and we have been adding new content regularly to our radio blogging and Youtube video channels - you can find out more about these exciting new ways of getting the latest news here.

Finally, everyone here at PRO-ACTIVE South London would like to wish all of you a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

We look forward to working with you to support Sport and Physical Activity across South London in 2011!

Best wishes,

The PRO-ACTIVE South London Team
