Running Sports - Funding For Your Club (Issued
October 2010) |

Take the guesswork out of applying for funding
Sport England's Small Grants Programme' workshop
Are you aware of the funding your club could enjoy through Sport England's Small Grants Programme? If you have identified a project that requires financing, you could tap into anything from £300 to £10,000 of the £7 million grant Sport England makes available through this programme.
- Want to buy sports equipment for your club?
- Struggling to pay your transport costs?
- Coaching sessions need to be paid for?
- Volunteers' expenses spiralling out of control?
These are just a few reasons why you may want to apply for funding from Sport England's Small Grants Programme.
What's the best way to ensure your club makes a successful application for the funding it deserves?
It's a good question with a simple answer: all you have to do is attend the brand new 'Sport England Small Grants Programme' workshop and you will improve your clubs chances of making a successful application to the programme.
Dramatic words perhaps, but Jeremy Brown from Bradford Bandits BMX Club says that the runningsports "Funding for Your Club" workshop that he attended inspired him and his two fellow volunteers to keep the club going for the sake of the young people of Bradford.
