Sport Kingston recognises
the value of sport and the important role it
plays in improving the quality of life for
many people living in Kingston. Our clubs
are committed to ensuring that children and
young people are safe and able to enjoy and
achieve through sport by being safe and free
from harm when they take part. Many of our
clubs will receive Child Protection Guidance
from their own Governing Bodies. |
|
The introduction of the
Vetting and Barring scheme has caused some
confusion and probably the best guidance and
resources you can receive on this come from
the Independent Safeguarding Authority. Website:
www.isa-gov.org |
 |
|
The Active
Kingston Team and the
Clubmark website have templates of Child
Protection Policies that you can access and
adapt to use in your club and there are
regular Child Protection courses taking
place to assist you, details of these are on
the Coaches pages. |
