The RiC Evaluation is not a review of the career of an 80’s pop star manufactured by Stock, Aitken and Waterman (ask an older colleague if you don’t understand!). The RiC Evaluation was launched in September 2009 and has three main objectives:
- To create a culture of sharing good practice and promoting continuous improvement among providers, partners and investors of RiC.
- To positively engage stakeholders of RiC to inform the future direction of the programme and any future programmes developed.
- To measure the impact of the RiC programme, finding out what works, what does not work and why.
The RiC programme itself aims to deploy 10,000 new volunteer coaches by 2011. 5,680 of the coaches will be delivered through the network of Sports Colleges/School Sport Partnerships (school setting) and 4,320 through the network of County Sport Partnerships (community setting)...read more.
Alternatively contact John McIlroy who is leading on the evaluation at sports coach UK.
