The Surrey
outdoor archery
county
championships
are coming back
to Kingston!
|
The event will
on Sunday 18th
July at Kingston
University
sports ground at
Tolworth Court
Farm, Old
Kingston Road,
Tolworth KT4 7QH
|
| This event
attracts archers
from all over
Britain as it is
a World Record
Status FITA
event. |
|
|
|
The
Championships
run over two
days, Saturday
and Sunday,
although the
county
championships on
the Sunday it is
the more
important (and
busiest) day.
All the
Chessington
Juniors shooting
at the London
Youth Games
(past and
present) will be
taking part on
the Sunday as
well as top
adult archers.
The archery
tournament
starts at 9.30am
each day and
finishes at
about 4pm. |
|
|
This will be one
of the first big
events to be
held at the
University's
newly
refurbished
sports ground
and pavilion. I
would like to
invite the
Kingston sports
team to pop in
at some point
over the two
days to see the
new facilities
and a big
archery event in
action. There is
lots of info
about the event
at
www.chessington-bowmen.org.uk/surreystar2010
This is
one of the first
archery events
to use on line
entry and
payment. |
