Flexible learning packages for ASA/QCF Qualifications

Do you have swimming coaching or teaching experience?

Are course dates just not flexible or suitable enough?

Want to gain the qualification sooner?

Then Survive and Save Training's bespoke
flexible learning training packages is for you!

There are many reasons why people have not taken any qualifications or have not completed qualifications. Some find it difficult to fit courses in and around family commitments, galas and work commitments etc; others find the thought of attending courses to be too academic and like school with the requirement for exams and written tests in the qualifications off putting.

Survive and Save Training are able to offer you unique opportunities to complete your qualification using an individually tailored programme to suit you that can remove the need to attend courses in its entirety.

This can include assessment methods that suit you, training times that suit you, access to your tutor as pre-arranged times, and recognises all of the teaching and coaching experience that you have gained prior to enrolling for the qualification.

If this would help you to take your first steps to a recognised qualification or to gain the next level, contact us without delay. We will be happy to discuss tailoring a course for you.

We currently have a number of candidates working towards their qualifications for Level 2 Teaching Aquatics and Level 2 Coaching Swimming. Some of these candidates have also been able to access Mayors Legacy Funding after negotiation with the National Skills Academy.

  • 50 metre swim in under 1 minute
  • Tread water for 30 seconds
  • Surface dive to 2 metres in depth
  • Climb out of water unassisted

If you can achieve the above these are the details of our next course in April:

Quality Assurance and Feedback

We value the feedback received from everyone who attends our courses. After each course we look at your evaluations to see where we can improve our course delivery, administration and resources.

Snapshots of feedback from all our courses can be found at http://surviveandsave-training.org/messages.html . Thank you once again for your feedback it is important to us and valued.

This year we have also started to look at attendance and success rates of our candidates. In line with the feedback we have received attendance and successful completion of qualification by people attending courses run by Survive and Save Training is excellent.

Direct comparisons between 2009/10 and 2010/11 statistics are impossible due to the major changes introduced to the qualification structures with the move from the NQF to QCF in January 2011. They do however show a continued high level of success which as ever we are striving to improve further.

Learners who have not achieved standards for QCF qualifications have all been offered opportunities to complete work on a flexible basis with tutor support either in their own workplace or via a placement with us.
